Summary
Namibia offers remote workers with overseas employers or clients a temporary stay through its Digital Nomad Visa, administered by the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board. The checklist requires proof of income or funds, including USD $2,000 per month for the applicant, USD $1,000 per month for an accompanying spouse, and USD $500 per month for each accompanying child, plus medical or comprehensive travel insurance and other standard documents. The six-month visa is nonrenewable. Confirm the income calculation, application location and reentry conditions with NIPDB before traveling.
The visa cannot be renewed or have its conditions changed. You may apply again only 12 months after it expires. The current program page lists a fee of NAD 3,300.
Eligibility
Document your remote work, employment contract, or other accepted proof of funds, and show that you meet the monthly amount for your household. You need six months of bank statements and medical insurance or comprehensive travel insurance.
Prepare police clearance, a medical certificate, a radiological report—the required medical imaging report—and the other checklist documents.
Ask the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) how your income or funds will be assessed and whether you must apply before traveling. Confirm whether your visa permits reentry before planning trips outside Namibia.

What This Route Allows
You can live temporarily in Namibia for six months while continuing remote work supported by income or funds from outside the country.
What This Route Is Not
This is not permission for local employment or a route to permanent residence. The six-month visa is nonrenewable, its conditions cannot be changed, and the 12-month wait before a new application starts when the previous visa expires.
